Scientific conference of ASRMU "Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy-2021"

On May 10 and 12, within the framework of the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU), the Sino-Russian scientific online conference of students and young scientists "Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy-2021" was held.

The organizer of the international online conference was the Youth Council of ASRMU, which brings together medical students, young physicians and novice researchers from the two countries in order to create a research educational environment and exchange new developments in the field of pharmacy and clinical medicine.

The participants of the forum - senior students, graduate students, undergraduates and doctoral students of Russian and Chinese medical universities were greeted by the First Vice-Rector of Sechenov University, Executive Director of RKAMU, Andrey Svistunov, Co-Chairman of ASRMU from the Chinese side, Academician Yang Baofeng, as well as Rector of Harbin Medical University, Academician Xue Zhang.
The First Vice-Rector of Sechenov University Andrei Svistunov noted that the Russian-Chinese Commission for Humanitarian Cooperation highly appreciates the contribution of tASRMU to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare between the two countries.

“Given the current global pandemic, the Association has become an international platform for sharing knowledge and research results, thereby making great efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation in the fight against COVID-19,” Andrey Svistunov said. - In general, by bringing together leading Chinese and Russian experts, the Association provides an excellent opportunity to share best practices, implement joint research projects and integrate cutting-edge achievements into healthcare practice in both countries. It is crucial to create opportunities for collaboration among young physicians who are the future of global healthcare.”

Students, graduate students and young scientists, including those from the Center for Scientific Career and the Biomedical Club from Sechenov University, took part in the forum. The best young researchers shared their achievements in pharmacy, oncology, 3D tissue engineering, as well as research on the management of patients with COVID-19 and recovery from coronavirus.

ASRMU was created on the initiative of Sechenov University in 2014. Co-founders - Sechenov University and Harbin Medical University. ASRMU gives opportunity for leading experts from the Russia and China for an intensive exchange of experience and development of practical measures of interaction, which are further implemented with the active assistance of both countries. Cooperation between medical universities of both countries allows China and Russia to form an up-to-date agenda for the development of collaboration and the implementation of promising projects in the field of education, science, as well as the development and implementation of advanced medical equipment and medicines in both countries.
